OOTD - The colour of orange blossoms

Okay not really!! Orange blossoms are normally white, but i just had this urge to title my post of "orange blossoms"!Don't really know why honestly, but since i could do it I did ahah
Well the weather has been something special to say the least, on Monday it rained, but today it reached 30ºC :o
It wasn't on purpose that orange was the queen in my clothes colour range today. I just "hum at 7h it's a bit chilly but i know i'll be burning by 12h p.m. so i'll take these sweater on top and for the shoes i'll be walking a lot so i'll wear these they're super comfy and the bag is not even up for discussing...it'll be crocky". Yes i've named my favorite and most expensive bag i ever bought, yes i'm that obsessed :p

jeggings from clockhouse;
wedges from Teresinha;
the black sleeveless t-shirt  from primark;
Orange Cotton yarn sweater from Ana Sousa
Can you see the golden & sparkly threads?

Have i  mentioned how spectacular is my mother's jewellery collection ? So i wanted to take a sneak peek i swear, just before i left the house but couldn't resist in borrowing this sophisticated necklace from details!!:P
The sweater looks good...Now that i've come to think about it i should wear it more often it's beautiful don't you think? it's easy to wear, light and there's nothing similar to it and the quality it's amazing, and u can always take it off once the temperature is stupidly high:p

Have a nice weekend

OOTD - The Pinky Shirt

The sun has been joking around with us!! During summer was a no show, but now in the last week of september we have 28º C!!It was suppose to be 20ºc at the very most so that we wouldn't feel bad returning to the routine, but oh no now that i can't enjoy the weather and have to be all day long in rooms and trains he's here!! I'm mad at him!why does he have to be so mean?! :s
Well either way i felt like doing an OOTD!

Yes i know i said it was super hot, but early in the morning was quite chilly actually! And since i'm a pharmacy college student i know how pills are made and the long-term consequences it has to our bodies so i believe its "better to prevent than to be sorry later" so i prefer wearing jackets to taking aspirins and ibuprofens! :p

This is why i like doing OOTD, i have so much fun, i laugh and laugh and keep on laughing about my goofy faces, my awkardness & pretty much eveything!

white leggings from zara; belt from primark; wedges from Teresinha; pink t-shirt from promod; denim jacket from Mango.

Enjoy the sun if you can!!

OOTD - Animals on my wrist

My gorgeous sister Beatriz!! Posing for the OOTD!Look at her go!

The flower pattern is absolutely cute and young!

Top from Stradivarius, shorts from Berska.

Red wacth from Swacth. The colourful bracelets from a normal stationery but they're different because once you take them off...

They acquire different forms, including animals, objects and words!
Curious is it not?

OOTD - Neutral Tones!

Yeah, it's the 3rd week of September and it's HOT!!Just to think that in certain days of the last month, August, I had to wrap myself in my towel because it was too damn cold on the beach (sighs) And now that I gotta return to college and use the trains, the metro, the bus it's freaking hot!Just today were 29ºC!Don't get me wrong i love the summer and all but it's just a suffering to go back and forward with this heat!

So this is my choice for these current busy & hot days. The Sleeveless Nude t-shirt from Stradivarius, really light and fresh. The white leggings from Zara because i don't like to go to college and use the public transports with a skirt is guaranteed that I will have to run at some point during the day AH! The neutral heels from Calçado Guimarães but i have inside that lovely leather shoulderbag a pair of flats rest assured!

Blue bracelet a gift from a dear friend from Bijou Brigitte. Watch from swatch.

My summer obsession / love, the wanna be crocodile shoulderbag.

Just keep smiling and being happy!

OOTD - Sunny Day

Enjoying the sun and the wonderful heat while it's here!!

Yahh for my goofy face!! I was trying to see through the sun light and that didn't turn out right, how surprising!

So the white bandeau top that tights around the neck is from Berska. I really love this one because of those colorful beads. The top is kinda flowy and light perfect for hot summer days. In my opinion it's a beautiful top.

The jeggings are from the clockhouse.

Those light brown wedges are from Sapatarias Teresinha (street 1st December) in downtown Lisbon after the hard rock cafe and behind the theater D. Maria II. And what i specially like so much about these is that the sole is thick at the front. It's great because when the sole is thin it gives me the feeling of walking directly on the floor and for those who know the Portuguese sidewalk it can be quite uncomfortable and honestly kinda dirty :s

The bracelets. The blue one is part of a set of 3 bracelets and that i got from Parfois. The other 2, the white and the dark brown one with the carved elephants i bought them from a local merchant by the sea during summer holidays a couple years ago in Portimão along with the shell bracelet and the tribal necklace. I don't usually buy the trendy bracelets i prefer the simple and natural looking ones because they always look nice, they're always on trend, they go with everything and last longer.

Ah yes my summer obession. A shoulderbag made of real leather, great quality from Ricamel, shop nº51 inside the Shopping Mall of Carcavelos. What else can i say?XD

Quick OOTD and Coffe

Seems like the summer heat has arrived at last, in september!! It has been soo hot this last few days! Not that i'm complaining! The next OOTD pictures were taken today just before i left the house while the coffe and desserts photos were taken in a lovely caffe in Mafra (yeeh i love that town) called Polo Norte with a reputation that macthes the quality and friendly environment!

The blue ankle pants, my go-to piece this summer, are from Promod.
The green top is from Mango.
The nude shoes are from a very portuguese shoe shop Calçado Guimarães.
My summer obsession / love, the wanna be crocodile shoulderbag is from Ricamel, shop nº51 inside the Shopping Mall of Carcavelos.
The necklace is a mystery!:P I bought it along with the shell bracelet, see here, from a local merchant. I just thought it looked kinda tribal and pretty and it was just 3 euros so why not? But what is it made of i can't tell since i didn't ask the seller about it.

 And now the Coffes!!!

Does it look good or what?

The two cakes on the first picts are called Parras, and they're made of fresh eggs,on the inside and on the outside of thin puff pastry. And it tastes like heaven!Okay not really but they are really good.
As you can see there's a good variety of cakes to buy even by the slice, all at an affordable price starting at 45 cents. Those slices of chocolate cake or almond delightfully decorated with fruit and chocolate are 1,15 euro each and all edible of course. So yeah it's really a nice place to go if you happen to be in the neighborhood. The calories? Oh dear if you're gonna think like that than you better not go out to eat like..anywhere in Portugal. But for a one time go out why not?Just spend an extra 15-30 min in the gym. By the way Polo Norte also sells fresh bread and makes various kinds of custom cakes: birthdays, parties, engagements, weddings ...

Those 2 concentrated tiny little cups of coffee are 60 cent each and they guarantee a safe home return :P Pure coffe my friends!

Sure i couldn't return home without bringing some cakes to the rest of the family, so here they are!
1 Parra for my sister. This is what the inside looks like. I don't know why but i feel so naughthy posting this pict.XD

1 travesseiro ( "pillow") for daddy. Original from Sintra. It is also made of fresh eggs and pastry, but completely different from the Parra. Why? Nobody knows the recipe. Secrets centuries old.
1 trança ("braid") to share with my mother!Guess what's made off?

And thats all!

OOFTD - Memories of Mafra

These pictures were taken last Friday in Mafra. A town "mostly know for the sumptuous Palace" built by D.John V in the 18th century and it's only the greatest baroque work in Portugal. The Mafra National Palace has also inspired the Portuguese writer José Saramago to write a book that would be awarded with the Nobel Prize.
Yes, Mafra is an unforgettable and mystical city that allows us to travel back in time.

The blue pants below the knee are from Promod and definitely one of my go-to pieces this summer. I love it when i buy a piece just because it was on sale and ended up being my favorite piece!!
The sleeveless pink and stretch shirt is from Primark.
The denim jacket is one old resident in my closet and it's from Mango.

Ah yes, my summer obsession. A beautiful shoulder bag that mimics the crocodile skin. I absolutely love this bag. I found it by chance in a small shop inside a small shopping mall close to the train station in Carcavelos. It was the last one and the quality is unbelievable, it's so good!! The price tag was 78 euros but i bought it for 70 euros lalala.
It's real leather that has been hot molded to create the texture of a crocodile skin. It's a bag that in 5 years will still look the same. Totally worthy it!!

The necklace is directly from my mum's huge and private colection :p But i believe she got it from Bdesign...

These are the shoes that i've been wearing all summer long. Nude color, loved the design, comfortable, loved the heel and loved the price 29,99 from Calçado Guimarães! And they go well with pretty much everything! So thumbs up!

The watch was a birthday gift from my father's. It's from Swatch.

And the lovely shell bracelet i bought during summer holidays a couple of years ago in Portimão from a local merchant by the sea. One of a kind piece since each shell is unique and always different.

An easy, cheap, simple, casual and very comfortable outfit. Perfect for a day well spent close to a place where part of Portugal's history was made. You gotta visit Mafra you won't regret it. If u're close by then i advise you to visit it.
