New Toy, new goal: Destrution


There were doubts about buying it. But all it took was a strong flick of the wrist, and the toy proved to be exciting and maddening for Lia, resulting in a relentless obsession. She had to catch it, no matter how high the the toy was or how fast it was. 
The intense persecution left her breathless. Literally. After 1 hour there she was, with her tongue sticking out, laying on the ground and keen eyes on the toy (and our arm left sore). But giving up never! Doesn't matter how drained she was, the fur ball would crawl (laterally), stretched her paw and sharp nail in an attempt to grab the damn teasing toy. Ah!

Na hora de comprar suscitou dúvida. Mas bastou um forte movimento de pulso, e a fita demonstrou-se aliciante e alucinante para a Lia, originando uma obsessão implacável. Ela tinha que apanhá-lo, independentemente do quão alta a fita estivesse ou quão rápida fosse.
A perseguição intensa deixou-a sem ar. Literalmente. Ao fim de 1 hora lá estava a bichana de língua de fora, expojada no chão e com olhos atentos no brinquedo (e o nosso braço dorido). Mas desistir nunca! Mesmo de rastos lá ia a bola de pêlo rastejando (lateralmente), esticando a patinha e a unháca na tentativa de agarrar a maldita fita. Ah!

So far it's the best way to exhaust her and make her sleepy! Just so I can brush her and cut her nails without fuss ahahah

Até agora, esta é a melhor maneira de cansá-la até a exaustão e fazê-la adormerçer. Só para que depois consiga escovar o pêlo e cortar-lhe as unhas sem dramas ahahah

Lia e a rolha


Lia the little devil.
Boosted by her new self-confidence she's positively devious!
So much so she constantly show us new moves, jumps and hilarious tumbles. And we try to find new ways and objects to stimulate her.
Well the stopper wouldn't hold still once the bottle was open and since Lia was so observant of the entire thing we decided to give it to her, and what a show she gave us!
It was the high light of her day (and ours as well)

Impulsionada pela sua nova auto-confiança ela está positivamente diabólica!
Tanto assim é que constantemente nos mostra novos movimentos, saltos e tombos hilariantes. E nós tentamos sempre encontrar novas formas e objectos para a estimular.
Bem a rolha não se mantinha quieta uma vez aberta a garrafa e como a Lia esteve tão atenta a toda a cena decidiu-se dar-lhe a rolha e que espectáculo ela nos deu em retorno!
Foi a luz do dia dela ( e do nosso também)

My Kitten, Lia


or rather my sis's kitten.
An adorable 8 weeks kitten, with fur to donate and give.
The moment I saw this little bundle, it was instant, it had happened, I fell in love! <3

So far she's doing well, almost too well. I swear she's completely insane sometimes, trying to get us all crazy with her energy.
She loves everything noisy, specially with wagging fingers.



It's been so long since we've welcomed a kitten in our home. We gotta learn her "signs", find out what food she eats, watch if she's actually eating it, close the windows, watch where we put our feet all the freaking time 'cus she's got the speed of a lighting ball etc.
Now I understand the obsession of young pet's owner with "how, should and must", I'm one of them now. I'm pathetic ahaha but oh so delight with her.

You shall be seeing this ball of fluffy fur and tiny meows often enough

The little devils!


Meet devil Nº1. Always excited no matter what is Luna. Our ball of energy, noise and pee. Our Yorkshire terrier.
It was love at first sight when on a lovely Friday night she came bursting in, really nervous, licking us, ears down, looking all cute.
She was firstly bought and then offered to a 2 years little girl by her grandpa's, my mum's colleague. Turns out Luna was too much of a ball of energy for them to handle, so my mum opened our home to Luna. She thought "how much trouble can a small cute dog like her be?" She was so WRONG!
Yes she's the real deal, with pedigree and all. The kind of dog me and my sis looked through the windows of the pet shop both delighted and shocked at the price of such a cute little dog
She's been with us for the last 5 years :D


And little devil Nº2 is my sister. Beatriz, she's 14. She loves to make me look dumb, pulls pranks on me whenever she can, she's constantly asking me drive her to the shopping mall, McDonald's, to cook for her, make pancakes, buy sweets, clothes, the normal teenage girl. The light of my life.

And when you put these 2 little jewels together in the same room, you're in  for a treat, lots of laughing, running, falling, screaming, squeals and the room is left a mess. And a lot happier.




Luna barks at everything she finds suspicious! And she will try to bite, whether is be a bigger dog, men working on the street, a ball, flowers, chickens, cats she chases them for real, lizards and there was this one time when she bit a rat head off and prayed around really proud of it! We were disgusted :o
