The Pena National Palace
Hello darlings!!Look where i went out to have a cup of coffee the other day, Sintra, one of Portugal’s greatest sights!
"Sintra is dotted by royal retreats, estates, castles and buildings from the 8th-9th century, in addition to many buildings completed between the 15th and 19th century, including the" Moorish Castle, "the Pena National Palace and the Sintra National Palace, resulting in its classification by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 1995." And it is spectacular!!
The “Azulejos” are gorgeous, the architecture a hoot, the views stupendous, and the colours pop out, even on a cloudy day let me tell u that. Sintra has it all, from Moorish heritage, from the period of our maritime discoveries, to the Masonic, to me Sintra is out of this world! One of my favourite places in all of Portugal.
It was with great pleasure that this last Monday my mum took me to drink a cup of coffee in one of the most known coffee shops, after Belém,  throughout the country, the Piriquita!!
Café Paris was once a place of election of a great writer Eça de Queiroz. Some considered him to be the best Portuguese realist novel of the nineteenth century. He's the author of Os Maias, O Crime do Padre Amaro (The Crime of Father Amaro)...Can't you imagine him sitting on one of those tables, drinking his coffee with his typical 19th century hat on the table and a pen plus a notebook writing and being inspired by the mystical surroundings that is Sintra?
One of many typical streets of Sintra
Ah yes the Piriquita!!

The tiny little cups of pure and intense coffee are a must try when in Portugal! You'll never want another type of coffee i assure you!:P
Ahh well the desserts we got were made of eggs yolk and almond. Not the traditional & world wilde known desserts of Sintra, but come on we are kinda pro on that subject so we went for a different one but no less Delicious!
When i first arrived i was doubtful that i was still in Portugal since all i heard was foreign languages!

I must say this photos are a extremely superficial glimpse of Sintra, we were on a rush, there's soo Much Moore to see and feel!Sintra is Unic.
The photos ( and the photographer :p)do not do any justice to the real beauty of Sintra, you gotta see to know what i'm talking about.
Nevertheless I hope you've enjoyed my photos, let me know what you think of this little town!Have you ever heard of it?Have you visited the town?I always love to know!!
